Aquila was inspired by the timelessly chic style of mid-20th century French and Italian film stars walking the red carpet at the season s most celebrated events. Europe s beautiful post-war cinema legends have long inspired runway collections. For frames in the Etere category, Akoni designers focused on vintage photos from the Cannes and Venice film festivals: the continent s biggest stars, always in cat-eyes, always paired with a silk scarf. You really couldn t ask for more old-school glamour than that and, truth is, that look couldn t be more right for today.
