About the designer
Founded in Austria in 1956 and now operating from Padova, Italy, Carrera is the famous eyewear label known the world over for its sports-centric and fashionable glasses. While the company began strictly to provide sports goggles to athletes, it has now expanded into one of the most classic and sought-after brand names for sunglasses thanks to its collaboration with Porsche to create the Carrerra Porsche Design Collection in 1979.
