The designers of the first 990 were tasked with creating the best running shoe on the market. The MADE in USA 990v6 embraces this original mandate with a series of performance-inspired updates. The upper forgoes the standard midfoot reinforcement, allowing synthetic and boar leather overlays to flow from heel to toe through the mesh insert for a fast, aerodynamic look. While the evolved design marks one of the most radical revisions ever seen in the generational transition of the 990, the most futuristic change happens on the inside. The addition of FuelCell cushioning in the midsole allows you to feel the evolution of the 990 as well as see it. - FuelCell foam provides maximum propulsion to propel you forward - ENCAP midsole cushioning that combines lightweight foam with a durable polyurethane rand for long-lasting support - Reflective details designed to catch the light - TPU rear tongue - Mesh upper - Pigskin and synthetic overlays DESIGNER ID: M990 GL6
