About the designer
Rick Owens founded his fashion line in 1994 in Los Angeles, though he has since worked between his native California and Paris, where the runway shows are staged each season. The label became widely known for its grunge-inspired gritty glamour and iconic, highly-sought leather jackets. Now, the collection includes menswear, womenswear, shoes, and accessories—all designed with the line's signature dark elegance.
