About the designer

Launched in 1962 by Arnaldo and Donatella Girombelli as a line of handmade skirts and blouses, Genny quickly expanded and gained popularity in Italy and abroad. In 1973, Gianni Versace was appointed Creative Director of the brand. Today, Genny offers a wide range of women's ready-to-wear and accessories, featuring feminine, flowing lines, and striking a perfect balance between classic elements and modern aesthetic. All pieces are handmade in Italy with meticulous attention to detail.

Buying expensive items online is something I normally shy away from due to the preponderance of fakes. Not a problem with The Italist! Well designed website. I have many transactions under the duty limit which is an extra savings. If duty is required, it is automatically included as part of the transaction.
