After a trip to an old factory in Slovakia, co-founders Christoffer Battin and Fredrik Johansson set out to create a footwear brand inspired by traditional shoemaking practices. Spalwart launched in 2010 and has since developed a cult-like following for their retro yet modern sneakers. New to italistI ordered a pair of shoes and they arrived via dhl quicker than domestic shipping! Beautifully packaged and very happy with my purchase! Shipping fee was expensive though which is a pity. I would be shopping more often on italist if the shipping wasnt so costly.
