The original 990 designers were tasked with creating the best running shoe on the market. The finished product exceeded expectations. Since 1982, there have been design updates, and a wider choice of colours, however, the status symbol spirit that 990s offered has never changed. Simply put, the 990s are so excellent that we have never stopped producing them.
