리복(Reebok)1895년 영국의 한 육상선수였던 J.W Foster(포스터)에 의해 설립된다. 포스터는 좀 더 나은 기록을 위해 못이 박힌 러닝화를 자신이 직접 디자인하며 리복은 시작되는데 1982년 선보인 여성용 에어로빅화 "프리스타일"은 에어로빅 붐을일으킬 정도로 엄청난 히트를 기록하였다. 그후 농구선수 샤킬오닐을 모델으로 승승장구하며 기술력과 디자인을 접목시킨 여러 스니커즈를 선보이고 있다.
