케이웨이(K-Way)의 시작을 알고자 1965년 파리로 잠시 여행을 떠나보자. 그날은 하늘에 구멍이 난 듯 비가 많이 오고 있었고 레온 클로드 두하멜은 우산속에서 장을 본 봉지를 들고 지나가는 사람들을 관찰하고 있었다. 그때 그의 뇌리속을 스친 한 가지 아이디어! 비오는 날을 위한 재킷을 만들자!라는 생각이었다. 그 날부로 케이웨이의 시대는 시작되었고 실용적이면서 새로운 라이프스타일을 제안해냈던 케이웨이는 오늘 날 방수재킷의 대명사로 아름다운 색상과 스타일을 추가해 그 명성을 이어가고 있다.
