The main theme of Pitti Uomo 92 manifests the many new ideas that are blossoming in fashion — particularly in Pitti Uomo, a bi-annual international event in Florence that showcases top and world-class menswear and mens accessories collections.

The Pitti Uomo 92 fair recently took place at Fortezza da Basso– a historic locale in Florence, running from the 13th to 16th of June 2017. Models, photographers, journalists, buyers and Pitti boys roamed the premises eager to witness the collections of “the very best Italian and international companies that experiment with, and innovate styles and material”

J.W. Anderson was a special guest at Pitti Uomo 92— it made its Italian debut presenting the men collection for S/S 2018. Another special guest at the event was Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh who said in an interview with BoF, “I’m honored that Pitti recognized the work that I was doing in Paris and want to give me a platform. There’s an opportunity such as this one to take a traditional platform and offer a new take on it.”

According to the Pitti Uomo 92: Facts & Figures, a total f over 30,000 guests visited the fair.
