The brand was founded in 2009, but its roots date back to 1921. Currently Moose Knuckles operates three factories in Canada where approximately 200 technicians labor over the brand’s outerwear.
Each Moose Knuckles coat involves over 70 processes and 90 skilled craftspeople. Each step is done by hand and requires the knowledge and skill of pattern makers, machine operators, and sewers.

Every Moose Knuckles jacket, coat, and parka is made with an outer layer of 74% cotton and 26% nylon, which helps balance cold-weather durability and protection with luxurious handle and lifelong quality. Additionally, sturdy YKK-brand zippers are used in every garment, which are engineered to withstand long term use. Coats are filled with Grey Duck Down feathers with a 650-800 in³/oz. loft, which is guaranteed to keep anyone warm in the wintertime.
Finally, the unique Moose Knuckles “MK” emblem on each jacket is made from steel in a variety of dashing colors: gunmetal, antique nickel, royal brass, matte black, matte silver and a 14k gold plated version for extra-special garments.
