Here, the rugged sole is the basis of the Original silhouette, made of Smooth leather and marked by the unmistakable Dr Martens DNA: yellow stitching on the welt and a back webbing with AirWair logo. Born on 01. 04. 60 (from which date the name itself is derived), over the course of six decades the 8-eye boot has become iconic. Notoriously tough and durable, it's up to you whether you polish the Smooth leather for extra shine or not. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
