The golden goose forty2 sneakers are inspired by the glory days of american basketball, reinterpreted with a contemporary aesthetic and exceptional artisanal construction. the chunky low-top silhouette features micro-perforated inserts and 3d textured effect details, such as the black tpu star and the black leather back insert. the design is completed by the coordinated heel tab, the grey piping, the ice grey suede toe and the white laces with a vintage effect, for a bold and sophisticated look.

Golden Goose was founded by Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo in 2000. The Venetian brand started as an Italian footwear line of vintage-inspired sneakers, which are modern with a pre-worn feel, following the rise of streetwear and casual luxury. The collections now include women’s and men’s clothing, accessories, and footwear like boots in addition to their iconic distressed sneakers, all made in Italy.
