The Japanese t-shirt brand 2K by Gingham takes their t-shirt design very seriously. First inspired in the early 1990s when museum and popular art design t-shirts began to be displayed in fashion boutiques, their grand plan was to export and distribute some of these designs. Disappointed by the lack of fresh and contemporary cutting edge designs they found, the brand took matters into its own hands, choosing instead to work with a variety of "new" artists and design sources.
