1849년에 만들어진 영국에서 가장 오래된 구두 회사 중 하나. 에드워드 7세, 엔리코 카루소, 다니엘 데이 루이스 같은 유명인사이 단골 고객이었다고 한다. 런던 매장은 여전히 롭 페밀리들에 의해 한번에 하나씩, 하루에 190켤레 정도의 구두를 만들고 있지만 에르메스는 사업 범위를 레디-메이드 슈즈까지 넓혀 놓았다. 악어 등 특수한 가죽으로 만들어진 구두도 만들고 있다.
