What other way to start then with this glorious American romantic comedy?  This 1961 movie inspired our favorite clothing item: a little black dress. The dress you need for this costume is of course the Givenchy LBD. Full black sleeveless dress with white frill at the bottom. Next you need a Lanvin ribbon necklace which is a pearl necklace and has a black bow to tie the look together. Next come Sermoneta long black leather gloves which add that touch of mysterious elegance (or is it elegant mystery?). Jimmy Choo’s luxe classic black pumps are character-appropriate and wearable long after the season. Last but not least Valentino’s Sunglasses are perfect to finish off the costume.
