Halloween costumes don’t have to be boring at the office
Halloween is just around the corner. It’s one of your favorite holidays – us too. One problem though, while your friends are dressing up in halloween costumes for work, you don’t exactly have the job that particularly loves the idea of you taking clients out in your bunny costume.
Not to worry, you’re not the only one. The last thing we want though is for you to scramble looking for something to wear into the office that will keep you in the spooky spirit, but not going overboard.
Our thoughts are this…
For work appropriate halloween costumes that are anything but basic, we’re going to spice up your regular work day staples. The goal is to look classy, spooky chic at work, and then easily transition to night by simply adding a few Halloween accessories to take your toned down office look into full blown Halloween mode.
Thankfully, it’s easier than you may think. It’s all about getting creative and wearing something that will transition from meeting to evening.

The Black Cat
We’re taking notes from one of our favorite, Julie Sariñana of the fashion blog Sincerely Jules. For the office, pair a black leather mini skirt like this one from Kenzo with your favorite cozy black sweater like this one from Acne Studios. We’re spicing up her look by tossing on your over the knee boots like these from Stuart Weitzman. After the work day is over, throw on some cat ears and have fun with a little cat makeup.
To pull off this adorably cute pineapple, notice you don’t need much. At the office you can either wear your favorite yellow dress or if you need more coverage, try these gorgeous Celine trousers and this Edward Achour blouse. Wow. For the night, simply finish off your look with a headband that doubles as your pineapple top.
Julie Sariñana of Sincerely Jules is bringing the Halloween inspiration again. This one might be our absolute favorite and sure to impress your friends. It’s genius. For this halloween costume, we’re loving the Moncler Gamme Rouge embellished fur trimmed down jacket as your main hero piece. A fur vest or white top will work too. For the bottom, try Valentino‘s long pleated metallic skirt – on trend for FW16 – or even the MSGM silver mini. Now for the best part. To transition this look to evening, add your unicorn horn and enjoy the Halloween festivities.
