Adam Kimmel studied architecture at New York University but decided to set up his own clothing label when he couldn't find anything he liked in stores. Kimmel's line is always inspired by America with references to art and culture, such as Willem de Kooning and Abstract Expressionism. His clothes are more romantic than nostalgic but always with an intimately luxurious luster.
