It’s only been two years since Alessandro Michele became Gucci’s creative director and everyone recognizes that he and CEO Marco Bizzari have certainly stepped up the game for the Gucci brand’s creative direction and global positioning in the fashion world. From Michele’s first Gucci collection launched in Milan in January 2015 to the new Pre-Fall collection 2017, he’s quickly become an important voice in an ever-competitive industry.

We are starting this series called “The Italist Edit” where we feature different looks and ensemble mix-and-match pieces from the brand– each item available on Italist! For our first edit featuring the top luxury brand Gucci, we present the rich and vibrant attitude portrayed in Gucci’s new campaigns.
