Inspiration for dress and travel in 2016. Italist magazine is a luxury shopping destination that provides you the options to look good and feel good.

As we kick off a New Year, set new goals, make new memories and reach for our dreams, I think of all of the things I will try to accomplish this year. I start getting overwhelmed at the thoughts that race through my head.  I want to start off fresh, reset and reinvent myself. Every year as I get older, I want to get better in every way.  For inspiration for dress and travel in 2016, I will start with that good old saying, “Look good and feel good”.  

First on my list is wardrobe!  I need to go through all my stuff and clean out things that don’t fit right anymore and are looking old.  Don’t get me wrong I love vintage but some clothes just don’t age right.  I always look at how the clothes fit now.  My body has changed in the past year so the best fit always wins over everything.  My inspiration for dress and travel in 2016. 

Now that I have my wardrobe set, next is where will I go?

The romance of both Italy and Greece have always peaked my interest.  I have been to parts of Italy but never Venice and from the looks of it, I am definitely missing out.  I think both the cape dress and sheer Valentino piece would be a perfect outfit choice.

Then there is Greece where everything seems as crystal clear as the water.  With it’s white mountainous architecture to the clear blue sky.  So why not jump on a yacht with my sun hat and enjoy the breeze.  

Basically, waterfront locations seem to be my happy place. 

Remember to live life, because looking  good is feeling good in 2016!
