“Hawaiian, tropical florals have become the most prominent print this season,” says Dana Avidan-Cohn, InStyle senior market editor/digital correspondent when asked about Hawaiian fashion.

The Vera Wang Suite at Halekulani
Halekulani is the dreamiest place on Waikiki Beach on the big island of Honolulu. Vera Wang herself was so inspired when she visited that she designed a suite here, looking out on to panoramic views of the island’s volcanic crater, Diamond Head. Halekulani and Vera Wang represent the most refined and exclusive pedigrees of taste, style and sophistication. The 2,135-square-foot, one-bedroom suite costs $4,000 per night and is one of the priciest hotel rooms in Hawaii.
Wang said she wanted to create a “sensual, sophisticated world in which every last detail is attended to and carefully considered.”
All meals are served with Vera Wang china, crystal and flatware, and the suite is adorned with hand-selected from Vera Wang’s new specialty home, gift, bath and accessories collection. The master bath features warm exotic woods and sleek stone finishings evoking the ambiance of a private spa. The suite’s color palette is elegantly neutral with jewel like accents of colored silk and a diverse selection of natural organic fabrics and textiles.
